CIJJET Ltd is a UK-based cleantech startup developing bio-based, low-carbon coating technologies for sustainable construction, textiles, and packaging. Our flagship product, CIJJET Breathe™, is a patented innovation reducing up to 16 kg CO₂ per 1,000 m², with lab validation underway and early traction in R&D partnerships (e.g., Imperial College London, Intertek UK).

Role Overview

We are looking for a part-time Innovation & Fundraising Advisor to support our seed fundraising efforts and grant strategy. This is a freelance, commission-based role ideal for someone with experience in cleantech, innovation funding, or early-stage investment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and connect with potential investors (angel / seed stage)

• Support our Innovate UK Smart Grant or Horizon Europe applications

• Advise on refining our pitch materials, projections, and investor pack

• Optionally represent CIJJET in pitch events or investor calls

• Coordinate with founder and team on funding strategy

Requirements

• Experience in startup fundraising, grant writing, or innovation funding (e.g. IFS, UKRI, EIC)

• Familiarity with cleantech / sustainable materials a strong plus

• Excellent communication, written and verbal

• Existing network of early-stage investors (preferred)
